Everything from the same manufacturer

The new, highly translucent lithium disilicate ceramics IPS e.max Press and IPS e.max CAD complete the IPS e.max product range. The IPS e.max system thus covers all indications in all-ceramics.

The IPS e.max system developed by Ivoclar Vivadent has been complemented with the lithium disilicate ceramics IPS e.max Press and IPS e.max CAD in the new high translucency level (HT). It now covers the entire all-ceramic indication range, from thin veneers to 10-unit zirconium oxide posterior bridges.

Unmatched strength
The IPS e.max Press and CAD HT ceramic materials offer an unmatched strength of 360 to 400 MPa. Due to this strength, these ceramic materials are ideally suitable for the fabrication of minimally invasive restorations, such as thin anterior veneers with a wall thickness of just 0.3 mm or occlusal veneers – so-called table tops. Inlays and onlays can also be fabricated with these materials. Adhesively cemented inlays require a minimum thickness of just one millimetre. In order to appropriately complete minimally invasive restorations, the staining technique is recommended. This technique can also be used for completing all other all-ceramic restorations. However, if even more outstanding aesthetics are required, such restorations can be completed using the cut-back technique.
